Western Lotto signs Tuface Idibia, Olamide, Ramsey Nouah, Zack Orji

An estimated eight artistes across the entertainment industry in Nigeria have been signed up by a gaming brand, Western Lotto, reports ITRealms.

The Managing Director, Western Lotto Nigeria Limited, Mr Femi Badero, disclosed this in a press statement made available to ITRealms.

The brand ambassadors for Western Lotto, ITRealms gathered, include musicians Tuface Idibia and Olamide Adekeye as well as actor-comedian Ayo Makun, aka AY.

Others are Nollywood stars Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule, Ramsey Nouah, Paul Obazele and Zack Orji.

Badero also said that these artistes, would be part of the star-studded guest list at the launch July 10 of Western Lotto.

The entrance of Western Lotto with official launch on Monday, Badero said, would significantly alter the landscape of gaming in Nigeria and offer value-added services to customers and prospects.

ITRealms recalled that Western Lotto Nigeria Limited is a company licensed in Nigeria to operate terrestrial and online platforms for gaming activities including important international lottery brands, instant draw, indoor games, lotto betting and online scratch card games and the likes.

Olamide, Ghanaian Juliet, Joselyn join Glo ambassadors list

Acclaimed most sought-after Nigerian musician, Olamide Adedeji alias Olamide Badoo, has been signed on by Globacom as a brand ambassador, alongside two Ghanaian artistes, reports ITRealms.

  

From Ghana, two new ambassadors have also been appointed, namely, Juliet Ibrahim and Joselyn Dumas, both highly regarded actresses currently making waves in the Ghanaian and Nigerian movie industries.

Globacom in a press statement made available to ITRealms, indicated that Olamide was signed on as an ambassador because of his creativity and diligence, which have earned him an enviable status in the music industry. The company said both Olamide and Timaya, who recently joined the brand ambassadors, have become sources of inspiration to millions of Nigerian youths. 

According to Glo, Olamide, Timaya, Ibrahim and Dumas will be in good company with other mega stars who are already ambassadors to Globacom.

ITRealms recalls that some of the incumbent Glo brand ambassadors include ace actress, Patience Ozokwor popularly known as Mama G; music divas, Omawumi and Ego, delectable Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, stand-up comedians Basketmouth and Bovi Ugboma; fast rising musicians Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Hadizah Blell (Di'ja), Africa Rapper Number One, MI.; and a host of other mega stars.

Olamide is a 27 year-old graduate of the Tai Solarin University, Ijebu Ode. He sings and raps mostly in his indigenous Yoruba language with a superb blend of street patois. He has several musical hits in his kitty. 

In 2011, Olamide released his debut studio album Rapsodi.  YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint YBNL Nation and  was supported by the singles "First of All", "Voice of the Street", "Stupid Love", and "Ilefo Illuminati". He released his third studio album Baddest Guy Ever Liveth in 2013 with singles like “Durosoke" and "Yemi My Lover".

Other hits from his stable include PepeSneh, Sakitibobo, Konkobility, Who you epp and Eeyan Mayweather.  Olamide has been nominated and won several music awards, including multiple Nigeria Entertainment Awards and The Headies.

Timaya is a highly successful artiste, with bias for raga, hip-hop, dancehall and afro beat. Some of his albums include, True Story, Gift and Grace, De Rebirth, LLNP and Upgrade. He is the founder of South-South hip hop group, Dem Mama Soldiers.

He started his solo career in 2005 with the release of Dem Mama, which was widely accepted across Nigeria, especially among the youths.

He is a multiple award winner and has to his credit four Headies Awards and one Nigerian Music Award.  In 2011, Timaya was appointed a Peace Ambassador by the Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP).

Joselyn Dumas, a Ghanaian television host and actress is currently the host for a new TV talk show @ Home with Joselyn Dumas, aired across Africa and parts of Europe.

Dumas was a practicing para-legal until 2014 when she starred in A Northern Affair, a role that earned her a Ghana Movie Award and an Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

She made her debut on Television as the host of Charter House's Rhythmz, an entertainment show, which saw her interviewing many celebrities. She was head-hunted by one of Ghana's biggest Television Networks to host their first own produced flagship Talk show, The One Show, which was aired from 2010 to 2014.

Juliet Ibrahim, described as one of the prettiest female faces in Africa, is a Ghanaian actress, film producer, singer and humanitarian of Lebanese, Liberian and Ghanaian descent. She won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2010 Ghana Movie Awards.

Ibrahim speaks English, French and Spanish. She studied Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Confirmed! Olamide, Iyanya lead @ Yudala Zero Gravity concert in Lagos

Confirmed! The largely stylish a-list artistes Olamide and Iyanya are part of the headline acts for a mega digital entertainment concert tagged Yudala Zero Gravity slated for the Landmark Event Centre, Oniru-Lagos, Victoria Island on Sunday, October 2, this year, reports ITRealms.

Yudala Zero Gravity, ITRealms gathered is powered as a mega three-city dual concert featuring the best artistes in Contemporary Nigerian hip-hop and Rock Gospel, who will use the platform to launch new hit tracks. It is a platform to see and hear it first. In addition, loads of surprises and other side attractions are in store from Africa’s pioneer composite e-commerce outfit Yudala and New Concept Media Group (NCMG) at this inaugural edition of Yudala Zero Gravity.

He is expected to release a hit track during his performance at Yudala Zero Gravity.

This inaugural edition of Yudala Zero Gravity will hold in three cities - Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. Each city will host two concerts: a Contemporary Nigerian music blast and a Rock Gospel concert. Zero Gravity will witness pure acoustics and live performances from the best Nigerian artistes in both genres of music.
