Shell is reinforcing its long-term commitment to Nigeria's economy and energy security by prominently featuring its extensive contributions at the 2025 International Conference and Exhibition of the Nigeria Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), reports ITREALMS.
The exhibition, which commenced yesterday in Lagos, coincides with the 50th anniversary of the professional body, founded in 1975.
The 43rd NAPE conference is centered on the theme: “Revitalising the Nigerian Petroleum Exploration and Production Strategies for Energy Security and Sustainable Development.”
As a Titanium sponsor of the event, Shell’s exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of its diversified footprint in Nigeria, which now spans across both traditional and renewable energy sectors.

The Final Investment Decisions (FIDs) on Bonga North and HI projects underscore our commitment to the development of the country. Our exhibition tells this powerful story of progress and partnership,” de Jong commented.
The Shell stand immediately attracted high-profile visitors, including the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, and Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, as the exhibition opened.
Abidemi Belgore, Senior Production Geoscientist & Subsurface Integrator, led the dignitaries and other visitors on a tour, highlighting Shell’s strategic focus areas.
