President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt felicitations to High Chief Olayinka Fasuyi, the Asiwaju of Ijesaland and President/Chief Executive Officer of Ibadan Business School, as he marks his 70th birthday on October 25, 2025, reports ITREALMS.

According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President described Chief Fasuyi as a distinguished management consultant whose expertise has benefited numerous multilateral and bilateral institutions, including the World Bank, African Development Bank, and several government agencies.

President Tinubu commended the celebrant’s exemplary leadership and deep commitment to community development through initiatives such as the Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) and the Ijesa Development Fund (IDF), noting that these efforts have transformed the socio-economic and infrastructural outlook of Ijesaland.

“This milestone is not merely a celebration of age, but of impact, legacy, and service, to God, to community, and to country,” the President said.

He added that Chief Fasuyi’s vision and dedication mirror Nigeria’s quest for sustainable progress and inclusive growth.

“At 70, you stand as both Asiwaju of Ijesaland and a national achiever whose courage and faith have inspired transformation. Nigeria and Ijesaland are proud of you,” Tinubu declared.

The President prayed that God would continue to bless Chief Fasuyi with good health, wisdom, and renewed strength in the years ahead.
