ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!
After some 20 months of dedicated service, Femi Soneye, the spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has resigned from his position as Chief Corporate Communications Officer, reports ITREALMS.
In a heartfelt statement available to ITREALMS on Saturday, June 21, 2025, Soneye expressed his gratitude to colleagues and stakeholders for their support and collaboration.
Soneye cited the need to focus on personal businesses and family responsibilities as the reason for his resignation.
"This decision will allow me to devote more time to my family and attend to personal responsibilities that now require my closer presence," he explained.
Despite stepping aside, Soneye said, he remain committed to the NNPC Ltd's mission and vision.
"I remain a steadfast supporter and ambassador of NNPC Ltd wherever I go," he affirmed.
Soneye further encouraged his colleagues to continue their excellent work in supporting the company's strategic role in Nigeria's energy future.
As he embarks on this new chapter, Soneye reflected on his time at NNPC Ltd, saying, "It has been a profound honour to serve both the company and our country, and to contribute in my own way to the ongoing transformation of NNPC Ltd."
