The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) is set to host a Stakeholder Validation Meeting for its meticulously crafted organizational Strategy Plan spanning 2024-2028, Wednesday January 31, 2024 in Abuja.
In a statement released by Mr. Itia Otabor, Centre LSD's Director of Strategy, it was emphasized that the Stakeholder Validation Meeting aims to provide a platform for key stakeholders to familiarize themselves with the Strategy Plan and present their comments and inputs. Otabor affirms that the primary goal of this Strategy Plan is to chart a strategic course for Centre LSD, positioning the organization to seize opportunities and develop a playbook for successful engagements.
The plan delineates Centre LSD's agenda for the next five years, outlining the trajectory to fulfil its mandate while providing a structured framework for monitoring and evaluating the organization's performance.
The leadership and management of Centre LSD recognize the need for a strategy plan to serve as the foundation and guiding compass for its actions.
This Strategy Plan marks the organization's third iteration since its establishment in 2010. The inaugural plan covered the period 2013 to 2017, while the successor plan spanned from 2019 to 2023. The current iteration was meticulously crafted, taking into consideration both the external and internal environments within which Centre LSD operates. It involved a thorough analysis of the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
