ECOWAS, ITREALMS recalls met a few days ago and gave the military junta that took over power in Niger 7 days to reinstate the former president. The juntas responded by asking so-called ECOWAS leaders to remove the plank in their own eyes first by stopping corruption in their countries and ensuring that true democratic principles are upheld before pointing at Niger for a speck.

Also, in a communique from the military leaders in Mali and Burkina Faso aligned with Niger military leaders and promised to form their own joint forces alongside Russian and China.

In a classified message sighted by ITREALMS as shared by the David Hundeyin on his Twitter handle, @DavidHundeyin, exposed this trend on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

The worst fears of watchers of ECOWAS community, Hundeyin said, seem like becoming true with the latest signal under President Bola Tinubu's chairmanship.

As said by him, “They actually intends to attack Niger Republic, and the Nigerian military is currently being mobilised to Sokoto in the northwest, to launch an air offensive on Niger.”

The top secret message, ITREALMS gathered, revealed was endorsed by a Major General with DHQ/149/OPS.

The intercepted signal also urged the armed forces to prepare to commence movement of platforms to Sokoto and to enforce a no-fly zone.

Movement, ITREALMS further gathered, would be on short notice.
