Internet Fraud: 33yr-old landlord in EFCC along 10 suspects

A 33-year-old landlord, Mr. Stanley Ejike Awam is now cooling off in the net of the Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) for housing some 10 suspected Internet fraudsters in his compound, reports ITREALMS.

Their arrest, ITREALMS gathered, took place Wednesday, January 29, 2020, saw the 10 suspected also in EFCC net.

According to ChannelsTv, monitored by ITREALMS, Mr. Awam was apprehended for allegedly providing shelter for the suspected internet fraudsters while the 10 suspected internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys were picked up at different locations of the Ibadan metropolis following intelligence on their alleged illegal activities.

In addition, ITREALMS gathered that the suspects were arrested at the premises of the six-flat bungalow alongside the landlord were Henry Echefu, Usman Mustapha, Adeleke David, Olafuyi Josiah, Shorefire Ayokunmi, Riliwan Ajao, Abulsalam Abubakar and Lukeman Salam. Others are Adeyemo Muktarh and Bashir Mohammed.
