SMEs countdown commences for ITU Telecom World 2016 @Bangkok

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU)-organised Telecom World 2016 has commenced countdown to the world’s leading Information and Communication Technology (ICT) innovation targeted at Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs) event, reports ITRealms.
The four-day event, ITRealms gathered has been slated to take place from 14-17 November in Bangkok, Thailand, even as the event will focus on collaboration in the digital economy and the key role SMEs play in our digital ecosystem.
According to ITU, the 2016 Telecom World combines a global technology exhibition, a forum for sharing knowledge, a networking hub for corporations, governments and SMEs and an influential awards programme.
ITRealms recalls that ITU is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies, driving innovation in ICTs together with 193 Member States and a membership of over 700 private sector entities and academic institutions.
Established over 150 years ago in 1865, ITU is the intergovernmental body responsible for coordinating the shared global use of the radio spectrum, promoting international cooperation in assigning satellite orbits, improving communication infrastructure in the developing world, and establishing the worldwide standards that foster seamless interconnection of a vast range of communications systems.

From broadband networks to cutting-edge wireless technologies, aeronautical and maritime navigation, radio astronomy, oceanographic and satellite-based earth monitoring as well as converging fixed-mobile phone, Internet and broadcasting technologies, ITU says its committed to connecting the world
