The state government through the Ifeanyi Aniagoh, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) Social Media to the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano sounded this warning at the weekend, saying that their attention have been drawn to online activities of some masked identities who circulate foreign images of dead persons claiming that they are photos taken from Onitsha, Anambra State.
“It's clear that some mischievous elements are out to turn facts upside down with respect to happenings in the State,” he lamented.

Aniagoh also said that a state adjudged by all and sundry as the safest State in Nigeria which has enjoyed a very peaceful atmosphere since the Chief Willie Obiano took over as the governor... A feat much cherished by the young and old in the Light of the Nation was being misrepresented online.
“It's thus laughable to hear some agents of misfortune insinuating unimaginable things about the unfortunate deaths recorded in Onitsha in recent times,” he said.

Those images and stories behind them, he insisted, were not from Anambra State and are false, misleading and mischievous.

“We urge Ndi Anambra to ignore such ignoble acts and carry on with their legitimate plans to enjoy a beautiful Yuletide Season,” Aniagoh said.

Court of Appeal website still under spell of 01Team Hackers

The Lagos State Court of Appeal official website, hacked by a group of suspected Islamic sympathizers by the name 01Team is still under spell, 48 hours after the incident was proclaimed, reports ITRealms.

Investigations by ITRealms reveals that the Lagos State Court of Appeal official website may have been hacked at the same time the Lagos State government official website was attacked allegedly by same group in the early hours of Friday, December 18, 2015.

What this means, according to some industry watchers is that Lagos State government may be proactive in dealing with the situation which has since been restored, while the Lagos State Court of Appeal remained unreactive, an indication that even top management of Court of Appeal administration may not have direct access to the website or typical interest in what happens on the defacing of the institution online presence.

As at the time of filing this report, the Lagos State Court of Appeal website remained inaccessible with display of message directed to the Federal Government of Nigeria alongside the governments of United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar, accusing them of abetting terrorism, despite their condemnation of the activities of Boko Haram and ISIS, which they described as core terrorists.

“Boko Haram and ISIS are terrorists, They are killing Muslims and innocent people because of your dirty money, Hey Nigeria Government you killed thousands of Muslims and specially Zakzaky's family too,You are all terrorists, You are all murders, GOD damn you! Allahu maulana wala mula lakum.”

Further preliminary investigations revealed that database of Court of Appeal website has been leaked to some three other entities include https://file.io/FCNbYO, which reads a 404 error page while the second one http://www.masiup.com/u1 is a suspected pseudo site hosting company, whereas the last on sends visitors to another pseudo file sharing service provider known as Wikisend.com.
