Etisalat revamps EasyLife for postpaid

Etisalat Nigeria has launched a postpaid version of its Easylife package in Lagos.

This, the mobile operator is in a quest to yield to customers demands, though the prepaid plan was launched two years ago.
Etisalat’s Chief Executive Officer, Steven Evans said the company from inception, has had Easylife as a worthy product, adding that its subscriber-base has risen to 10.8m as at December 2011, which was against the 6.8 million in 2010.

An achievement, according to him is against the already saturated market, stating the fact that Etisalat also brought down the call rate from 25kobo/second to 20kobo/second.

Part of Etisalat’s achievements in 2011 according to Steven Evans is the 3.75G easyblaze broadband services launched in September and the Etisalat Gaga Android smartphone in October.

Etisalat Mass Marketing Segment Manager, Mr. Idowu Adesoko said that the 20kobo/second to all networks is the most affordable tariff in the country.

For the Manager, High Value Segment at Etisalat, Ms Olubukola Fisher, while introducing the postpaid package plan said the postpaid is one of its kind as users will only be charge for the services consumed during that particular period as against other network charging a fixed rate whether used or not.

According to her, the package was specially designed to suit life of young business professionals as users get more value for a monthly service charge of N750 only.

With EasyLife postpaid, she said, users get to make calls for 20kobo/seconds to all network in Nigeria, USA, China, India and UK landlines, 15kobo/seconds to one Etisalat number and one United Kingdom landline or United States number, free 600 SMS per month with SMS rate to On-net, Off-net and international numbers at N5, N5 and N15 respectively.
