Etisalat has taken roaming of its network to Hajj with the introduction of low tariffs for Nigerians on the network that are going for the special moment.

Etisalat Chief Commercial Officer, Wael Ammar said that the operator in its relentless move to continue satisfying subscribers with cost effective services, has announced the introduction of special Hajj offer that will afford its subscribers the opportunity to enjoy low cost roaming during the Hajj.

“Hajj pilgrims will enjoy over 85 per cent discount on the current roaming rates while roaming in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he said.

The offer, he said, has been designed to reward new and existing customers on the post paid and pre-paid package will ensure that customers enjoy the best rate (N45) to call back to Nigeria while roaming.

“Customers will also spend only N30 per minute to call any local number in Saudi Arabia and spend only N12 per text message to Nigeria and any country in the world,” he said.

According to Ammar the hajj offer is to appreciate Etisalat’s customers who are embarking on the pilgrimage and offer them a cost-effective manner to stay in touch with loved ones back home.

“This offer is one of the numerous ways we at Etisalat consistently reward customers for their loyalty and patronage in a cost-effective manner regardless of their location because our customers are at the centre of our business,” he said.

This offer, he said, would ensure that subscribers on Etisalat are not limited by location in bonding with their family and loved ones while they are on hajj.

He noted that the hajj offer will also be enjoyed by subscribers on the Elite world Prepaid and post-paid packages.

“Elite world post-paid subscribers can enable their roaming service by visiting any of the Etisalat customer experience centres, pay a roaming deposit and roam on mobile network in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
