Zinox’s Bijimi attains penetration, goes continental

Latest in stock at Zinox Computers, the Bijimi otherwise called the digital bull, has attained remarkable penetration with a record of 6,000 confirmed orders, just as it was weekend demonstrated in South and East Africa countries.

Sources at Zinox disclosed that Bijimi model innovation marks the computer company as a listening organisation that has used the feedback from users to achieve technical improvement and enhance consumer benefits.

The Bijimi PRO and Bijimi Sage, our sources said, was built on the success of the Zinox Divine Laptop, which has a reputation in the market as Nigeria’s Number 1 selling laptop.

Accordingly it was gathered that Bijimi has unique capacities that set it apart from competition and on the way to another era of Zinox dominance of the mobile technology market with over 6,000 confirmed orders, just weeks after its launch.

Affirming this development, the General Manager, Engineering at Task System Group (TSG), Mr. Innocent Okorie, said that Bijimi series proves that the Zinox research and development (R&D) has used the mastery of mobile technology to deliver on design, performance, and ease of use.

He said that this Notebook which has been certified by Intel Corporation and Microsoft runs on the latest Intel Dual Core P8600 or T3400 processor, with 2.16GHz, 2GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, 15.4” display screen, Webcam, Bluetooth, Microsoft Vista Business/XP PRO and comes standard with additional battery that gives the user a minimum of 13hrs interruptible usage of this world-class model.

Okorie also said that Bijimi series are ideal for use in busy work places, schools and other areas where high productivity is expected.

Meanwhile, Chairman, Zinox Technologies Limited, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, was busy last week demonstrating Zinox Bijimi Pro to audiences in South and East Africa.

Ekeh who was on an exploratory business trip to Addis Ababa and Djibouti stopped over in South Africa for a telecom exhibition, where the Bijimi became the centre of attraction.

Managing Director, Mustek, Mr. David Kan, said he was impressed by the bold hearted branding of Bijimi, which means bull in the Hausa language.

The Mustek boss commended the determination of Zinox Computers to build a robust platform for the development of Nigerian technology.

He urged Zinox to persevere in the production of world-class quality IT equipment as this was the only way to help Nigeria rise up to the challenges of the global meltdown.
