Truck driver, security guard, others win ‘Everywhere You Go’ promo

Commercial truck driver, Mr. Moshood Olaide and security guard, Mr. James Ogbole, as well as a call center operator, Ms Sandra Onyedinachi, were among 15 winners that emerged at the latest MTN Everywhere you go promotion.

They were presented with N1m cheque each in a ceremony at MTN’s Ikoyi offices in Lagos.

Presenting the cheques, External Communications Manager at MTN Nigeria, Mr. Andrew Okeleke, congratulated the winners.

He advised them to commit their prizes to sustainable projects that would continue to make their lives beautiful.

Mr. Okeleke also said that one of the main objectives of the promotion was to touch the lives of subscribers with significant prizes that would turn their fortunes around.

The presentation was the climax of the Everywhere You Go promotion, which kicked off in April 2005. He pointed out that MTN disbursed a total of N40 million during the promotion with one hundred lucky subscribers winning N100,000 each, and over 200,000 subscribers went home with airtime as prizes in the promo.

According to him, MTN is currently running another promotion that makes every participant a winner.

He said that any subscriber that activates his/her 0806 starter pack and recharges with any denomination of airtime automatically gets N480 airtime credited to his account.

This, he said, was to encourage Nigerians to acquire the 0806 line, which share the same features and functions as the traditional 0803.

“They are both active on MTN network,” he said.

However, speaking after receiving his cheque, Mr. Moshood Olajide gave declared, “Today is a day l will never forget in my life. Today, l have joined the millionaire club. I thank God for using MTN to better my life.”
