InfoSecurity: Schwartau leads speakers

CHAIRMAN of MobileActiveDefence, Mr. Winn Schwartau, has been pencilled to lead speakers at the forthcoming InfoSecurity forum in the United Kingdom (UK).

Confirming this, leader of the InfoSecurityuk 2010 Team in Nigeria, Mr. Peter Ejiofor, said that they are excited to announce the keynote topic “The Future of InfoSec” to be delivered by Chairman of MobileActiveDefence, Mr. Winn Schwartau.

Schwartau, he said, would look into his crystal ball and predict the future of information security, information warfare, cyber-terrorism and the coming technologies to be faced by the global technology-driven information community.

“It’s not always pleasant, either,” he asserted, but noted that Bumblebots and nanotechnology as well as high energy Radio Frequency (RF) weapons, deception and wireless, would form part of the examination by speakers.

Also, he said that speakers would tend to answer “What are the impacts on business and productivity? Corporate vigilantism: right, wrong or necessary?”

Ejiofor pointed out that when law enforcement could not respond to or investigate cyber-attacks, what should be done would equally receive attention at the 2010 InfoSecurity assembly.

Additionally, he said that it is wrong to take the law into one’s own hands describing it as “illegal to disarm your adversary in cyberspace.”

According to Ejiofor, all about the new security chord of uniting the people, physical and cyber.

He further said that market consolidation based on buying of security products and new company could aid or worsen the situation.
