Technology Distributions Limited (IT), West Africa has
observed that genuine products give birth to higher productivity.
Experts at TD said this was the reason behind their pushing
for higher productivity through the deployment of genuine the likes of Hewlett
Packard (HP) Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) products and decried the
patronage of sub-standard printing supplies from the open market by
organizations.
TD noted that although low priced, fake products translate
to higher costs in the long run, adding that TD reputed for her passion in
dealing with customers’ problems is well positioned as HP Imaging and Printing
Group leader.
Speaking at the recent training organized in partnership
with HP Supplies and Hardware and targeted at top IT, resellers and procurement
managers in government and the private sectors, Lead Trainer, HP, Middle East,
Mediterranean and Africa region, Mr. Michael Hopfe, pointed out that HP has
shattered the boredom in printing through the production of HP Scitex 5,300
with capacity for large format printing up to 5m wide.
“There is excitement in the capabilities of HP’s printers,
printing advertising materials used to wrap around buildings and brand cars,”
he said, stressing that the training provided the platform for resellers to
learn about new technologies, new products in the market and how to position
the wide array of HP imaging and printing including consumables.
Hopfe gave another example, saying that the new HP Designjet
3D Printing Series, brings quality 3D printing right into the office.
“This range of 3D printers enables the creation of precise,
durable plastic models that could be used to evaluate form, fit, and function,”
he said, even as it produces high quality models and prototypes that are true
to original design and get a fast return on investment.
Aside the compelling acquisition price with low operating
cost, he described the HP Laserjet series as standing out on reliability, image
quality, speed, versatility, real world performance, and ease of use and
management.
As said by him, HP IPG bouquet provides solutions that yield
value through the entire printing process from design to collation, including
photo smart, toners, cartridges and inks.
