ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital!

Barely few hours after the #EndSARS protest gained international dimension with the one held on Sunday afternoon in the city of London, the Federal Government has succumbed to pressure by disbanding the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS) nationwide with immediate effect, reports
ITREALMS.

Confirming this, the Inspector General of the Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu said that FSARS has been disbanded in the 36 states of the federation and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

Members of the squad, ITREALMS gathered, would be redeployed to other police units also with immediate affect.

Affirming this a while ago, the Special Adviser on Media at the office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, had tweeted some few minutes earlier that “What we'll all realize soon: SARS is over! Just to be clear, here is where President and VP stand: 1. IGP must ensure police is accountable to the people and there must be justice in all violation instances. 2. Nigerians have a right to peaceful protest. 3. Presidency asked for calm.”
