We’ve largest local search engine – Rustagi

The management VConnect Global Services Limited, has laid claim to being the largest local search engine in the country.

Making this claim in Lagos, the General Manager, VConnect Global Services Limited, Mr. Deepankar Rustagi, said the aim of the company is to bridge the information gap that exist between the information seekers and service providers.

VConnect, he said, is a Nigerian company that is ready to transform the information service industry in Nigeria by helping Nigerians to access information about goods and services; whenever, wherever at no additional cost.

He also said that VConnect provides the most comprehensive and updated information on all Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) products and services with over 200,000 businesses currently listed on the database.

“The main objective of VConnect is to provide accurate information to the users with the vision to becoming the most reliable and most used local search engine for every information seeker in Nigeria,” he said.

VConnect, he said, observed that in daily routine, people look out for information relating to products and services around them like, where they could get one product or another? Who can do this for me? Who can give me the best quality? How do I get their contact, among others?

Rustagi further said that VConnect provides ready answers to these questions through two convenient channels which are web-based and Telesearch. “Information seekers can log on to www.vconnect.com to access information through the Web or by calling the dedicated hotline on 070 0000 8888 using Telesearch at no additional cost,” he said.

VConnect allows local businesses to register on the portal free of charge while offering them a platform to advertise to consumers at affordable rates. The service will improve the connectivity between the customers and goods/service providers leading to quick and better buying decision for users.

To assure authenticity, he said, VConnect has a large data field team that gather information and verify same before they are registered and made available for users.
