Multi-Links rejects firm over special promo

The management of the pioneer Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Multi-Links Telecommunications Limited, trading under ‘Multi-Links Telkom’ has rejected a firm over special promo and unauthorized marketing purposes.

A press statement from the telco endorsed by the Chief Corporate Affairs officer, Mrs. Ijeoma Abazie, said that the attention of the management of Multi-Links has been brought to a promo being propagated by an entity identified as Isvin Ventures Nigeria Limited, a communications, developer and real estate, which has been parading itself as a partner and using the marketing name of the brand for unauthorized marketing purposes.

“We have received telephone calls and personal contacts from members of the public who have had contact with the agents of Isvin Venture Nigeria Limited on the premise of offer of sale of landed property for a free Multi-Links telephone line,” she said.
According to her, the Isvin Venture Nigeria Limited and its agents have gone further to produce invoices and fliers with the Multi-Links Telkom logo in order to give the impression that whatever it was doing had the endorsement of the operator.

In addition, she said, this was to further convince the members of the public that its offerings were genuine.

“We wish to state that Multi-Links Telecommunications Limited is licensed as a telecommunications services provider and has been involved only with the activities within the limits of its operating license,” she said.

Also Multi-Links said it has no relationship whatsoever with the company Isvin Venture Nigeria Limited and its agent.

“We wish to warn members of the public to be wary of this promotional offer which is not in any way endorsed by Multi-Links Telkom,” she said.
