Ekeh tasks Africans on technology spread

Chairman, Zinox Group, Dr. Leo-Stan Ekeh, has tasked Africans on the quest for technology spread, saying it should be seen as a collective aspiration.

He made this call, while addressing an audience, last week during a continental tour to enshrine Bijimi Pro laptop, which covered Djibuoti, Addis Ababa and South Africa.

“The quest for technology advancement was a collective aspiration for all Africans,” he said.

He also said that Africans must pull their resources together in order to achieve a sustainable technological break through.

The Zinox chairman stressed that political and geographical boundaries must not be barriers to collective efforts in the quest for technology development on the continent.

“The peoples of Africa desire and deserve the good things of life propelled by modern technologies and their leaders must summon the will to support technology initiatives no matter where they come from in Africa,” he said.

As said by him, Zinox Computers latest model, the Bijimi, also called ‘digital bull,’ had remarkable penetration a fortnight ago with a record of 6,000 confirmed orders.

He affirmed that Zinox Bijimi model innovation marks the computer company as a listening organisation that has used the feedback from users to achieve technical improvement and enhance consumer benefits.

Just as Bijimi PRO and Bijimi Sage, were built on the success of the Zinox Divine Laptop, which has a reputation in the market as Nigeria’s Number 1 selling laptop.

Further, he said, Bijimi has unique capacities that set it apart from competition and on the way to another era of Zinox dominance of the mobile technology market with over 6,000 confirmed orders, just weeks after its launch.

Explaining that this Notebook which has been certified by Intel Corporation and Microsoft runs on the latest Intel Dual Core P8600 or T3400 processor, with 2.16GHz, 2GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, 15.4” display screen, Webcam, Bluetooth, Microsoft Vista Business/XP PRO and comes standard with additional battery that gives the user a minimum of 13hrs interruptible usage of this world-class model.
