Ojumah beckons on foreign investors

CONSULTANT-representative for West and South Africa at Inno Concept Gmbh Germany, Chief Fidel Ojumah has called on foreign investors to use the current opportunity in Nigeria to invest in the country.

Chief Ojumah who spoke to Business Champion at a recent anniversary of Nigeria’s 45th years of independence held at Ludwig-Berlin, said, Federal Government has continued to open up the Nigerian society through its actions with the hope of revamping the economy.

These steps, he said, were very encouraging considering several years of military rule in the country, which he described as difficult time in the nation’s history.

“At the momenet, we’re working on things that would bring peace
among us in Germany, but also for Nigeria as a nation,” he
enthused.
With the last five years marking the end of military, he expressed confident that Nigeria has come to rest and work along with her peers in global development.

“We’re looking forward to using this opportunity to open our borders to all those who have been by our side to come and have interaction with us through investment,” he said.

Presently, Chief Ojumah, who has lived in Germany for 25 years said, Nigeria businesses have continued to attract required positive attention.

“In fact, fortnight ago, we had investors meeting with the Nigerian
ambassador here in Berlin, Prof. Tunde Adeniran,” he asserted.
Chief Ojumah stressed that federal government is not merely changing people’s perception on Nigeria, but also the industrialists precisely.

He pointed out that several sectors of the economy are now ready to accept foreign investors beyond the oil sector.

Just as he tasked the Nigerian media to be consistent in positive reporting of happenings as it affects nationals in Germany.

“This would help the Nigerian government in polishing our image,” he said.
