DCC bags outstanding VPN award

The communications subsidiary of the Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), the DCC Networks has bagged ‘The Most Outstanding Corporate Virtual Private Network (VPN) of the Decade’ at the West African Digital Awards held recently.

Head, Marketing Communications for CWG, Mr. Chidi Okpara said that this is an indication that DCC Networks has continued to wax stronger beyond a decade.

He also said that this has been achieved by making key statements through the provision of innovative technologies to the financial institutions, telecoms, oil and gas as well as government establishments.

The company, he said, has strength to lead the pace within the industry which earned it some recognition at the recently held West African Digital awards.

He said that over the past decade, DCC Networks has provided solutions and services in the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT); Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) and Systems Integration using Cisco solutions, power solutions and managed services with a 24 by 7 help desk that provides first level support to her customer.

He pointed out that in response to customer’s needs and with the spirit of innovation CWG and its subsidiaries including DCC have sustained this commitment.

DCC, he said, has evolved into a business providing fibre optic solutions to corporate Nigeria with key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners comprising Gilat Satellite Networks, Cisco Systems, Avaya Communications and Helios Towers to name a few.

Reacting to the award, Head, Business Sales at DCC, Mr. Sylvester Ekpo, dedicated the award to their customers who believed in them and up till date regard them as trusted advisers in their journey towards technology innovation and advancement.

He also promise that DCC would continue to deliver excellent services to all its customers now scattered across major cities in Africa.
