NNPC/Shell vision first outreach: Over 2,000 benefit @Lagos community - ITREALMS

A recent outreach program organized by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SNEPCo) as part of their Vision First initiative has brought joy to over 2,000 individuals in a Lagos community, with many beneficiaries testifying to restored sight after receiving medical attention.
A recent outreach program organized by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SNEPCo) as part of their Vision First initiative has brought joy to over 2,000 individuals in a Lagos community, with many beneficiaries testifying to restored sight after receiving medical attention.
The five-day outreach, which took place in the Mushin Local Council Development Area, was the fourth in Lagos since the introduction of the Vision First initiative in 2022. During the program, a medical team performed 245 eye surgeries, including 198 cataract and 47 Pterygium surgeries.

As part of efforts to bolster the well-being and general health care delivery in its host communities, Dangote Cement Plc Ibese has donated multi-million Naira worth medical items to Ibese Public Health Centre.The donation which was part of the activities marking the 2023 Dangote Sustainability Week included items such as mattresses, wheelchairs, drip stands, sphygmomano-meters, infrared thermometers, solar lamps, baby cots, amongst others.

The African Internet community has been thrown into mourning following the demise of its champions, late Mr. Pierre Ouedraogo, whose sad event occurred on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Burkina Faso, reports ITREALMS.For members of the African At-Large Regional Organisation (AFRALO) at its 5th General Assembly in Accra-Ghana, participants observed a minute silence in honour of the late Pierre Ouedraogo.
