Teachers: Osun exco approves interview dates for applicants - ITREALMS

Towards the conclusion of the teachers’ recruitment exercise, the Osun State Executive Council has directed the Ministry of Education to conduct interviews for applicants within the cut off range adopted after the recruitment test.
The Council presided over by Governor Ademola Adeleke gave the directive after receiving updated reports from the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Adedipo Eluwole, who briefed the council on the activities leading to this final stage of the exercise.

The applicants from the African region have topped the responses to call by the 2024 Nominating Committee for the leadership positions, reports

The 2024 Nominating Committee Chair, Dr. Amir Qayyum disclosed this in a blog post on Friday, with Africa having some 26 per cent of applicants out of the 78 received in total before the end of the call on March 15, this year.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names (ICANN) has described as unprecedented the number of applications received for 2023 ICANN leadership positions, reports ITREALMS.

At the close of application period on March 30, 2023, ITREALMS gathered that a total of 155 completed applications for this year's open ICANN leadership positions were received.

New drivers license: FRSC says applicants must take computer-based test, opens portal - ITREALMS

Towards enhancing the integrity of the National Drivers license through the Driving School Standardisation Programme (DSSP), the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has commenced the use of Computer-Based Test (CBT) by applicants to eliminate all incidences of road traffic crashes resulting from bad road use culture, reports 
ITREALMS.
The Corps Marshal, FRSC, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, ITREALMS gathered, has ordered the commencement of CBT for fresh applicants of the national drivers license in all the driving schools nationwide, effective from 1 June, 2021.

ICANN NextGen Policy Forum @ J’burg seeks applicants

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has opened call for application for its Next Generation participants at the forthcoming Policy Forum, slated for Johannesburg, South Africa, reports ITRealms.
According to information reaching ITRealms, showed that Public Forum meeting has been slated for Johannesburg, South Africa between June 26 through 29, 2017.
This call, ICANN said, is for those between 18 and 30 years old and interested in the domain name system, Internet governance issues, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) public policy work.
In addition, ITRealms gathered that the NextGen application time frame which commenced on Monday, January 16 is expected to close by February 24, 2017.

The outcome of the selection process, ITRealms gathered will be announced by March 27, 2017.
