FRSC records 12% reduction in road crashes, 6055 offenders apprehended - ITREALMS

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has recorded 12 per cent reduction in road traffic crashes during the just concluded 2021 Eid-el Kabir Sallah special patrol operations that held nationwide, as a total of 6055 offenders were arrested for committing 7609 offences between 16 to 25 July, 2021 being the period that the operations lasted, reports 
ITREALMS.
The Corps Public Education Officer, Mr. Bisi Kazeem, informed ITREALMS that a total of 108 road traffic crashes (RTC) were recorded as against a total of 123 in the same period in 2019 representing 12% decrease.
