With the above, reading Reno Omokri recently in a piece entitled “History Never Dies” it reminds one of frantic efforts being made by some traducers who claimed the gift of the pen and closeness to the media work to mislead the rest of us, simply because Nigeria has deliberately removed history in schools’ curriculum, whilst they catch in to put Ndigbo or South East where Igbo is largely spoken on the slab for another pogrom probably.

The former Minister of Finance, Chu Sonny Okongwu, has been confirmed died on Wednesday, January 12 at the age of 87, reports 
ITREALMS.
Late Chu Okongwu
Popularly known as Chu Okongwu, he was a Nigerian economist and politician who was the Minister of National Planning, and then Minister of Finance during the Babangida administration between 1986 and 1990.

Kenebi Okobo dies in Lagos during liposuction surgery - ITREALMS

The Bayelsan billionaire and former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in the 2019 governorship election, Chief Kenebi Okoko, is dead, reports ITREALMS.

Okoko, 
ITREALMS gathered, died while undergoing liposuction cosmetic surgery at a Lekki Hospital in Lagos, Tuesday.ITREALMS recalls that liposuction or simply call 'lipo' is a type of fat removal procedure used in plastic surgery. Subject experts at Wikipedia described noted that evidence does not support an effect on weight beyond a couple of months and it does not appear to affect obesity related problems. And in the United States it is the most commonly done cosmetic surgery.

Source to the family, said that Kenebi, son of Prof. Kimse Okoko, unfortunately did not survive the liposuction surgery and reportedly died inside the cosmetic surgery theater room in Lagos because of power outage as the back-up generator refused to come up.

ITREALMS also gathered, was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KDI Engineering and doubles as a co-founding pastor of the biggest church, Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. ITREALMS further gathered hat his demise has left the Salvation Ministries congregation devastated. May his soul Rest In Peace.

Catholic priest, Edmund Nwagbara, dies in fire outbreak @Nnewi – ITREALMS

A Catholic priest in charge of the St Peter Clavar Parish, Nnewichi, Nnewi, Rev Fr Edmund Nwagbara is dead, reports ITREALMS.

Fr. Edmund, ITREALMS gathered died during an early morning fire outbreak in his room which cut up with him on Saturday.

Confirming this, the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi through the Director of Communications, Fr Martin Onwudiwe told ITREALMS that Fr. Edmund died in the early morning fire in his apartment.

“Rev Fr Edmund Nwagbara was the parish priest of St Peter Clavar Parish, Nnewichi, Nnewi,” he said.

Fr. Onwudiwe also urged faithfuls to continue to pray for Fr. Edmund among the departed.

“May we continue to pray for his repose,” he concluded.

African media icon, PUNCH chairman, Wale Aboderin, dies at 60

An African media icon and chairman of Punch newspapers, Mr. Wale Aboderin, has died on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 6.05am, at the age of 60 after a brief post-surgery ailment, reports ITRealms.
His death, ITRealms gathered, is coming barely a year after Mr. Aboderin was elected the Board chairman of the African Media Initiative (AMI) in Nairobi, Kenya.
Late Mr. Aboderin, ITRealms also gathered, was a trained commercial pilot at the Burnside-Ott Flying School, Florida, United States. The former student of Government College, Ibadan, Wale, was appointed chairman of the company’s board of directors in 2012.

His tenure witnessed groundbreaking changes in the editorial quality, management and fortunes of PUNCH, including a hugely successful redesign, the launch of several digital initiatives and the newspaper’s win of several local and international awards.

A popular sports enthusiast in Nigeria, late Mr. Aboderin is the founder and owner of Dolphins Basketball Club, a leading African female basketball club, with local and continental honours. He is a former chairman of the Lagos State Basketball Association and a former member of the Nigerian Handball Federation.
Late Mr Aboderin, ITRealms gathered, passed away after a heart surgery at the First Cardiology Consultants, Ikoyi-Lagos and was the older brother of actress and singer, Wunmi Obe. He is survived by a wife, Titilayo, and two children.

Plateau State Commissioner, Samuel Galadima dies while jogging

The Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Plateau State, Samuel Galadima, this morning, Wednesday, died after slumping during a jogging exercise in the state capital Jos, reports ITRealms.

Galadima’s death, ITRealms gathered, occurred in the company of his boss, Governor Simon Lalong at the Rwang Pam Stadium, while on a morning jogging exercise.

Confirming this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Director of Press Affairs, Emmanuel Nanle, said the story was true.

“Yes, the commissioner slumped while jogging and was rushed to the Plateau Specialist Hospital, where he died,” Nanle said.

The DoP also said that the official was gasping for breath by the time he arrived the hospital.


“Doctors tried to stabilise him but could not. We have lost him,” he said.
