In obvious face saving step, the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has warned distractors in the state that nothing must happen to Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, reports ITREALMS.
Soludo through his Senior Special Assistant on New Media Mazi Ejimofor Opara alleged that a devious propaganda unbefitting of the Anambra political philosophy is currently been peddled by some faceless fifth columnists who are hell bent on returning Anambra to political Egypt.
“Tribal considerations were completely out of our minds at this stage. But we had a set-back in the execution… But the other three who were stationed in the South failed because of incompetence and misguided considerations in the eleventh hour … But in the East, our major target, nothing practically was done. With the above, reading Reno Omokri recently in a piece entitled “History Never Dies” it reminds one of frantic efforts being made by some traducers who claimed the gift of the pen and closeness to the media work to mislead the rest of us, simply because Nigeria has deliberately removed history in schools’ curriculum, whilst they catch in to put Ndigbo or South East where Igbo is largely spoken on the slab for another pogrom probably.
