The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has condoled with the family, friends and fans of the late highlife musician, Julius Aremu Olusanya Ekemode, popularly known as Orlando Julius, saying his death robs the music industry of another
trailblazing legend and the nation of another giant star.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday by the Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Segun Adeyemi, made available to ITREALMS, the Minister described the late Orlando Julius as an all-rounder in his field, noting that he made his mark as a singer, song writer, saxophonist and performer.

ASA-USA consoles ndi Anambra in Texas, Louisiana

The Anambra State Association in the United States of America (ASA-USA) has consoled ndi Anambra in Texas and Louisiana over the ravaging hurricane Harvey, reports ITRealms.

The President and National Secretary, Messrs Michael Iloegbunam and Nnamdi Ozoh in a press statement made available to ITRealms, noted that as Texas and Louisiana States battle the devastating effects of hurricane Harvey, “our heart goes out to the families of our fellow ndi Anambra and our other associates that are trapped in this natural disaster.”

They prayed that good God protect all of Ndi Anambra in the affected areas and give them all the strength to bear the unimaginable loss associated with this storm.

ASA-USA also prayed for Godly wisdom to maneuver the confusions created by this historic storm.

“Above all when all these are over, may He replenish all that you have lost and bless each and every one of you more than you’ve experienced before,” they said.

Emphasising that they need to be strong as it will soon be over.
