Renowned author, Journalist, Frederick Forsyth passes away @86 - ITREALMS

The world has lost a literary giant and courageous journalist, in the person of Frederick Forsyth, the best-selling author of thriller novels like "The Day of the Jackal" and "The Odessa File," at the she of 86. 
His agent, Jonathan Lloyd, described him as "one of the world's greatest thriller writers."

Disruptive author, Oranye, to lead speakers @MainOne’s Nerds Unite 2018

The author of Disrupting Africa: The Rise & Rise of African Innovation, Nnamdi Oranye has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at the 2018 Nerds Unite being hosted by MainOne, reports ITRealms.

Oranye would be supported by speakers from Avanti, SAP Africa, Wema Bank, Andela and Microsoft, IXPN, among others, with the theme “Radical Digital Transformation.”

ITRealms also gathered that the event slated for Friday, 23 February in Lagos, is expected to bring together over 500 mid to senior ICT executives across multiple industries for intense innovation sessions featuring latest best practices and emerging trends in data center, collaboration, enterprise networking and cybersecurity among hot topics.

Nerds Unite is also expected to provide unparalleled networking opportunities with all these professionals under one roof.

ITRealms reports that the radical digital transformation being witnessed globally in recent times is the key focus of the event. The event will have four predominant discussion tracks: “Disrupting the Nigerian ICT industry”, “Radical Digital Transformation: Perspectives across industry players”, “Digitalization and Business” and “The future of mobile content delivery in Nigeria”, with discussions led by executives from leading companies exploring various industries and the digital transformation altering industry verticals.

ANA to host multiple author, Tolu Ajayi in Lagos

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Lagos State chapter has conclude plans to host Dr. Tolu Ajayi, a novelist and poet who is also celebrating his 50 years as a writer, reports ITRealms.

The hosting, ITRealms gathered has been slated for this Saturday, 9th of December, 2017, at Ade Allen Hall, Yoruba Tennis Club, Lagos by 11:00am prompt.

Confirming this, ANA Lagos Chairman Mr. Adeyemi Adebiyi, said Dr. Toluwalogo Ajayi was born in 1946, at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State and is proudly a Nigerian poet and writer of fiction.

Ajayi was educated in Nigeria and the United Kingdom; in the latter country, he qualified in 1970 as a physician at the University of Liverpool Medical School. He also specialized in psychiatry at Memorial University in Newfoundland, Canada, stressing that most of Ajayi's novels and stories draw on his medical experience.
