4GLTE: Smile offers best proposition in Nigeria, unveils Yaw as brand ambassador

The Managing Director of Smile Communications Limited, Mr. Geoffrey Efeurhobo, has said that the company’s offer on the Fourth Generation (4G) driven Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in the country is the best in Nigeria’s telecommunications market, reports ITRealms.

This is coming as Smile unveiled popular On-Air Personality and acclaimed first Nigerian Olympic touch bearer, Mr. Steve Onu, alias Yaw, as the brand ambassador.

Efeurhobo made these declarations at the dual unveiling of 070Smile and on Air Personality, Mr. Onu in Lagos.

According to him, Smile Communications Nigeria Limited, pioneered 4G LTE telecommunications almost four years ago and has continued to expand services into some eight major Nigerian cities and is not relenting.

Some of these cities, Efeurhobo told ITRealms include Lagos, Abuja, Benin, Kaduna, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Asaba and the commercial centre of Nigeria, Onitsha in Anambra State.

He also said that now, Smile customers could watch unlimited videos online, download unlimited music, enjoy unlimited social media, and play unlimited games online.

In addition, Efeurhobo said that Smile customers could study online without limits, notwithstanding download of updates and apps to make life better.

For the chairman, Smile Communications, Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, Smile is the first mobile operator in West Africa to develop and introduce Voice over LTE, plus a world first in a free Voice over LTE application that affords all customers in Nigeria with compactible phones, especially Android and iPhone devices to experience high-quality voice calls over Smile’s network.

He reiterated the commitment of Smile Communications to improve quality of voice and data services in Nigeria.

Obiejesi commended Mr. Steve Onu, aka Yaw, for emerging the first Smile brand ambassador, saying that ‘Yaw’ represents Smile by putting smiles on peoples face every morning with his programme on Wazobia FM Lagos.

Further, he said, Mr. Onu speaks three major Nigerian local languages fluently, which will reflect in the Television Commercials to be aired along the 070Smile campaign.

The marketing manager at Smile Communications, Lolade Shonubi, said they have Smile range of unlimited offers which include the ‘Unlimited Premium, Unlimited Premium+SIM, Unlimited Premium+SMiFi-S and Unlimited Premium+Router.’

She beckoned on Nigerians desirous of enjoying literally internet freedom every time and at everywhere across the country to clinch to Smile Unlimited offers, which prices are between N19,800 and N40,800.
