President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed joy over the freeing of school children kidnapped in Kaduna and Sokoto States, saying their return was sufficient birthday gift for him as he would mark 72 on Friday, March 29, 2024, reports ITREALMS.

This is coming as lamented the recent killing of some soldiers and members of security agencies in Delta State, and recent spate of security breaches by criminal elements in different parts of Nigeria.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has dedicated a toll-free number 622 as presidential election incident hotline for the 2023 national elections, slated for Saturday, February 25, reports ITREALMS.

A press statement personally endorsed by the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, NCC, Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, informed 
ITREALMS that the dedication was in view of the importance attached to the upcoming Presidential Election.

The wife of a former Chief of Army Staff Lt-Gen OA Ihejirika CFR (rtd), Mrs Nnenna Ihejirika, has commissioned a staff quarters at the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) college in Abuja, reports ITREALMS.

Ihejirika commissioned the newly constructed facility at a ceremony organised by NAOWA, also commissioned a 500-seat multipurpose hall at the model nursery and primary school, Asokoro, on Saturday.
