The National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that till date, it has not recognised the Senatorial candidacy of Senators Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan and Godswill Akpabio, reports ITREALMS.
INEC through the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Chief Festus Okoye made this known on Tuesday in a press statement available to ITREALMS and described as spurious allegations on the Form EC9 submitted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) as its candidate for Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District respectively.
