The National Executive Council of the Government Secondary School Afikpo Old Boys’ Association (GSSAOBA) has announced the appointment of Ven. Ogbonnia Ibe-Enwo as Chairman of the Committee for the 2025 Homecoming celebrations.

The appointment follows a resolution reached at the expanded leadership meeting of the Association held on October 19, 2024, during which it was unanimously agreed that a capable and distinguished individual was required to steer the planning and execution of the forthcoming Homecoming event.

The Old Boys Association of Government Secondary School, Afikpo (GSSAOBA), has formally announced the peaceful transition to eternal glory of the second school captain and the first indigenous (Afikpo-born) captain, Architect Ezeogo Ewah Elechi, reports ITREALMS.

The National Publicity Secretary, GSSAOBA National, Mr. Franklyn Ginger – Eke, informed ITREALMS that Arch Elechi passed away on November 23, 2024, after a brief illness.
