The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has achieved a 49 per cent increase in enrollment in the last three years, and sought for more media collaboration to deepen digital inclusion of Nigerians, reports ITREALMS.
Disclosing these at a two-day workshop with publishers of online newspapers in Lagos, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, NIMC, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, who was represented by Director of Information Technology and Identity Database, Engr. Lanre Yusuf, emphasized the critical role of media partners in promoting digital identity awareness and combating misinformation in the country.
