The webinar which held under the aegis of the Bank’s gender-based product, Polaris Pearl, focused on understanding the role of investment in wealth creation and the importance of taking financial responsibility.

NARRATION:  Chidi is the first of 8 children. His parents were poor but managed whatever their subsistent farming could offer to raise a large family. The Federal Government has today issued the notice for the Highway Development and Management Initiative (HDMI) to commence the procurement for the twelve Federal highway roads it intends to concession under its novel Highway Management Development Initiative (HMDI) conceived last year.

Accordingly, the Ministry has launched an e-portal commencing the procurement process for the twelve pilot Federal highway roads for concession.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has said it would maintain its current ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) until the conclusion of ongoing engagement with the organized labour and other stakeholders.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Dr. Kennie Obateru, said the Corporation, at the moment, was bearing the burden of importing refined petroleum products as the supplier of last resort to guarantee energy security for the nation.

Easter Special Patrols: FRSC deploys 25, 224 personnel, 580 patrol vehicles, 92 ambulances - ITREALMS

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed a total of 25,224 personnel to cover the various highways across the country as part of its Easter special patrols, reports ITREALMS.

The monitors deployed, ITREALMS gathered, would ensure compliance to the operational guidelines of the special patrol scheduled to commence from 31 March and terminate on 1 April, 2021.

Nigerians abroad have been asked to join the President, General Mohammadu Buhari retired, in the anti-corruption campaign in order to improve the floundering image of the country, cut waste and aid investment inflow. Nigeria is believed to lose billions of dollars to crooks who feast on public funds.

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa spoke at the virtual training organised for Nigerians in Diaspora on Thursday.
