In a renewed push for inter-agency synergy, the Comptroller of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Port Harcourt Area I Command, Comptroller Salamatu Atuluku, has paid courtesy visits to key sister agencies in Rivers State, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), reports ITREALMS.According to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC I Barilule Aanee, the visits were aimed at strengthening collaboration in border control, anti-smuggling operations, and trade facilitation.

Cardoso: Digitalisation key driver in advancing financial inclusion, urges stronger ties with Middle East - ITREALMS

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, has underscored that digitalisation is key driver in advancing financial inclusion, just as he canvassed stronger economic ties with the Middle East and the Nigerian diaspora community in the region.Speaking during a meeting with Talal Al-Humond, the Assistant Governor for Monetary Affairs, Saudi Arabia Central Bank – SAMA, on the sideline of the just-concluded inaugural Conference on Emerging Markets Economies organised by the Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Regional Office in Riyadh, Mr. Cardoso said there were lessons to be learned from Saudi Arabia in terms of infrastructural development and tourism.
