In a renewed push for inter-agency synergy, the Comptroller of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Port Harcourt Area I Command, Comptroller Salamatu Atuluku, has paid courtesy visits to key sister agencies in Rivers State, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), reports ITREALMS.

According to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC I Barilule Aanee, the visits were aimed at strengthening collaboration in border control, anti-smuggling operations, and trade facilitation.

The United Kingdom's Minister for Africa, Lord Collins of Highbury, concluded a three-day visit to Nigeria focused on deepening the UK-Nigeria strategic partnership, reports ITREALMS.

Discussions were centered on mutual economic growth, prosperity, security, and migration, whereas Lord Collins reaffirmed the UK Government's commitment to strengthening trade and investment ties.
