Group of civil society organisations (CSOs) in Nigeria have asked the Federal Government under the President, General Muhammadu Buhari, retired, to stop harassing them especially the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) over their assertiveness in exercising constitutional rights, arising from last year ban on Twitter, reports ITREALMS. 

The coalition in a press statement available to
ITREALMS and endorsed by the Executive Director, Enough is Enough (EiE) Nigeria, ‘Yemi Adamolekun; Executive Director, Media Rights Agenda (MRA), Edetaen Ojo; Deputy Director, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), Kolawole Oluwadare; and Executive Director, Paradigm Initiative (PIN), 'Gbenga Sesan, lamented the incessant harassments by the government and its agents on non-governmental organisations in the country and rejected the allegation of destablising Nigeria.
