As part of the efforts at improving connectivity in the telecom industry in the country, the Nigerian Communications Commission has issued new guidelines on co-location and infrastructure sharing, reports ITREALMS.

This, NCC informed ITREALMS would ensure that unnecessary duplication of infrastructure is drastically reduced if not completely avoidable.

Etisalat launches co-location services
Most
innovative and customer-friendly telecommunications company, Etisalat has
launched its colocation services to offer more value to its business customers,
reports ITRealms.
Etisalat’s
colocation service, ITRealms gathered, provides corporates with safe and secure
data storage, complimented with round the clock power and cooling, within Etisalat
data centres.
Director,
Enterprise Segment at Etisalat, Eric Uwaoma, disclosed that the roll-out of
colocation services deepens Etisalat bouquet of offers to the business market.
“This
service like most innovative services launched by Etisalat offers more
reliability, better quality of service and cost savings to the customer,” he
said.
