The International Coordinating Group (ICG), mandated to manage emergency supplies of vaccines, first approved a request from Mozambique to vaccinate 1,358,682 people over the age of one with a single dose oral cholera vaccine strategy on 9th March and last week approved an additional request to vaccinate 410,629 people with a view of supporting the country’s efforts to limit mortality and reduce the spread of the disease.

What is Africa Vaccination Week?

Annually, in the last week of April, the African Vaccination Week (AVW) is celebrated. During this week, immunization Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and stakeholders use various medium to raise awareness on the value of vaccines using a selected theme with the ultimate goal of increased access to vaccines, reduced morbidity and lives saved.

Vaccines are what they are; vaccines. The conspiracy theorists are ridiculous.
My neighbour's son was very ill with typhoid fever and she rushed him to the hospital. He was on admission for three (3) days.
After the boy was discharged, I went to the woman to ask her if she asked the doctors whether the drugs, including intravenous injections administered to the son were safe.
