The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida and Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, and the chief executive officer, Galaxy Backbone, Professor Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju, have been confirmed as lead speakers at the Africa Tech Alliance Forum [AfriTECH 4.0] holding in Lagos, reports ITREALMS.

Confirming this, the organizers AfriTECH 4.0 announced the distinguished lineup of speakers for this year’s Forum themed: “Leapfrogging Digital Transformation for Future of Africa’s Economy.”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) has approved the appointment of some new and returning Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, reports ITREALMS.

Confirming this on Wednesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale said in a press statement available to ITREALMS that the new Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), is Mr. Aminu Maida, who replaces Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta with immediate effect.

The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, has emphasised the need for an inclusive approach to achieve the desired digital inclusion in the country, reports ITREALMS.

The DG who was represented by the agency's Director, Zonal Offices Directorate, Ajayi Babajide Ayodimej made this known during a one-day stakeholders’ workshop programme in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital, organised in collaboration with the state's Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa has said the implementation of the service-wide Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution, organized by the Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation, will result in an annual saving of about N4.5 billion in Nigeria, reports ITREALMS.

Inuwa, who was represented by the Director, Information Technology Infrastructure Solutions (ITIS) Dr. Usman Gambo Abdullahi disclosed this while presenting a paper at the one-day ECM Service-Wide Round Table Workshop on ECM implementation with the topic "The Modalities of Software Clearance on ECM Solution for MDAs" at the Rotunda Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.
