The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) proceedings on Thursday in Abuja heard how the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu, president-elect on March 1 in the February 25, 2023 poll, and went on to delete essential data sets in its Bi-Modal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) machines for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) presidential result, reports ITREALMS.As announced by INEC, only the Labour Party secured more than the required 25 per cent of votes cast in the territory, as both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) failed to reach the score.

The Nigeria Police, on Tuesday arrested a couple of cyber criminals suspected to have aided the manipulations of the 2023 General Elections, ITREALMS can confirm.Those arrested at a residential building cum operational office block of Emperor Technology Company Limited are currently helping the Police in the investigation.

INEC takes last BVAS delivery for 2023 elections- ITREALMS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken delivery of the last consignment of the BiModal Votor Accreditation System (BVAS) reports ITREALMS.
The National Commissioner & Chairman, INEC, Festus Okoye Esq, confirmed this to ITREALMS on Wednesday.

The National Commissioner & Chairman, INEC, Festus Okoye Esq, confirmed this to ITREALMS on Wednesday.
This, he said was in furtherance of the preparations for the 2023 General Election, the Commission, on Tuesday, 3rd January 2023, received the last consignment of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation (BVAS) machines with 52 days to the election.
