The multi-million naira educational initiative is rolled out in strategic collaboration with leading ICT conglomerates, including Zinox Technologies, TD Africa, Task Systems, and e-commerce giant Konga.

Targeting aspiring technology professionals admitted or applying to Federal and State Universities as well as Polytechnics across Nigeria, the scholarship program focuses specifically on undergraduates pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

Speaking on the initiative, Director at the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation, George O. Emetuche, noted that the scheme forms part of activities commemorating the 70th birthday celebration of serial digital entrepreneur and Chairman of Zinox Group, Chief Leo Stan Ekeh. The foundation emphasized that the program serves as a gesture of deep appreciation to the nation and academic institutions that have supported the group's corporate journey over the past decades.

Quoting Nelson Mandela’s famous assertion that "education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world," the foundation reiterated its commitment to empowering the next generation of Nigerian tech leaders, innovators, and software engineers to drive sustainable economic transformation.

Eligible candidates and prospective undergraduates in Computer Science and Computer Engineering are required to complete their applications through the foundation’s official digital portal or via the designated scholarship banner on Konga.com.

Applications will undergo rigorous vetting by an independent Review Committee, with final selections based on academic merit, institutional admission status, and alignment with the program's long-term talent development objectives.
