The United Nations (UN) would Friday, July 14, 2017 hold
a memorial service for the late Professor Babatunde Osotimehin, reports ITRealms.
The memorial service, ITRealms gathered is in honour of the
late Professor, who was passed away on June 4, 2017 in New York.

news desk affirmed that UN sees this honour as an important and solemn event to
be held at Green Lawn, Front Yard of the UN House, Plot 617/618 Diplomatic
Drive in central business district, Abuja.

recalls that until his death, Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin was the Executive Director of
United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since 2011.
Osotimehin
was a Nigerian physician, who served as Minister of Health, and later became
the Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund, holding the rank
of Under-Secretary-General.
