The Nigeria Police has
confirmed, at least, the death of the chairman, Lagos State Okada riders, Rasak
Bello, at the All Progressive Congress (APC) councillorship primary in Ladipo-Sogunle
ward in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos, reports ITRealms.
The Lagos State PoliceCommand, spokesperson, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed this, although he
refused to put figure to scores of death allegedly killed at the exercise from
other parts of the state.
But ITRealms gathered that Rasak Bello was
shot dead when opposing happy-trigger gang arrived at the ward and venue of the
councillorship primary and opened fire.
Also, ITRealms gathered there were other
scores of death arising from the attack, which caused the Police to be on alert
patrol in Oshodi throughout Monday for fear of reprisal.
Popularly known as Hamburger,
Rasak Bello died on the way to a hospital in the Oshodi vicinity and leaving
its wake, fears among residents.
The attack left many reported
injured.
