Nigeria 2023 - The Choice we must make today by Chidi Abajue - ITREALMS

Commentary@ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!

I got up this morning feeling nostalgic about the good old days. The days I had to pay Twenty (N20.00) Naira only as boarding fee per term in the secondary school. Ten (N10.00) Naira only was for tuition. Meals served were above average both in quality and quantity. I finished my West African School Certificate Examination and got employed shortly after as an Auxiliary Teacher in another secondary school. Life was safe. You could travel to anywhere by any means, day or night without fear of being robbed, kidnapped or killed. Things were predictable - school calendar, employment, commodity prices, etc. All one needed was to plan, and then work towards your goal.

It all ended with the emergence of General Muhammadu Buhari through a military coup. Yes, the same Buhari that is here again with us like Soyinka's Abiku - coming and going these several times, leaving behind tears, woes and wailings as never before ever seen or heard.

Official! Zinox GTX Notebook, Kids Legacy Tab make debut

Unrelenting foremost Information and Communication Technology (ICT) entity, Zinox Technologies Limited, has officially launched the GTX Notebook and Kids Legacy Tab, the latest tech products under its Future Visions roadmap in Lagos, reports ITRealms.

The products launched simultaneously at the company’s branches in Port Harcourt, Abuja and Ghana via telepresence, had in attendance teachers and students from over 10 schools in Lagos, while students from schools in aforementioned locations also participated.

ITRealms gathered that these products were designed in partnership with foreign tech firms, namely the Intel Corp., Ashour Corporation, Tecsync Technology Co. Ltd. and Microsoft; which stood the Kids Legacy Tab and ultra-slim GTX Notebooks as cutting-edge devices from Zinox, both of which have been widely embraced by users and recording huge sales in the market.

Speaking at the event, Chairman, Zinox Group, Leo Stan Ekeh, disclosed that the products were the outcome of painstaking research targeted at meeting the future needs of a dynamic consumer base, as captured in the company’s Future Visions roadmap.

“The two products being launched today are revolutionary products. They took years to develop and fine-tune and are part of the most recent creations in the Zinox Future Visions. The Zinox Future Visions mandate is to anticipate where the world is headed and be ready with the right products and solutions. It is an ambitious project underpinned by research and development that will see the various companies in the Zinox Group diversify into new business areas with products in critical emerging sectors including Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Healthy Living, Core ICT, Internet of Things, Medicine, FMCG, Entertainment and Education, among others.

“Today, technology has become the currency of the 21st Century. We are already in the Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0, as it is described – a period that will be dominated by new and emerging technologies, some of which are already here with us. Examples are driverless cars, Big Data and drones, among others. As a continent, Africa must prepare for this future or stand the risk of being disrupted. This is what the Zinox Future Visions is all about and we are determined to lead in this race to equip the continent for the future that is already upon us,” he said.

Built to meet the computing needs of a dynamic audience, the ultra-slim GTX Notebook is a powerful tool. Available in two models, GTX 100 and GTX 200; the device runs on Intel Cherry Trail OS with 1.9GHz computing power and a durable 10,000mAh battery which offers users up to 10 hours’ average use. Boasting a 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable to 120GB, the 14-inch GTX weighs a paltry 1.5kg thus making it a light-weight companion for work, travel and leisure.

The Kids Legacy Tab, on the other hand, is a device which parents and care-givers will find fitting to introduce their children to technology and new vistas of learning. The device is designed as a critical foundational tool targeted at children from the ages of 3 – 13. Why Catholics will make Heaven!

I stumbled upon a pamphlet from one of these new generation churches that refused to mention its name, they only dropped a phone number and tagged it "SMS ONLY". It said "REASON WHY NO CATHOLIC HAS ENTERED HEAVEN."

My question after reading the antagonistic write up was "who is chasing the wind???"

Have you ever asked yourself why the Catholic church never advertises itself or any of her branches or outlets but yet has the highest number of Christians as a denomination?

You question the authority of the Catholic church - you called it a "demonic gathering" but there is a backing that Christ Himself set up this Church you now call a 'demonic gathering'

Read Matt 16:13 - 20. Not even the gate of hell shall prevail over it.

Why has the attention of all churches/ministries turned towards the 'Catholic Church'. Everyone is fighting the Catholic church instead of sin which is the arc enemy to your salvation???

You say they worship Mary and believe in idols for protection and yet you stick the picture of your pastor to your cars and door post as a sign of what??? You have believed so much in the power of the enemy of you that your prayer points are always about the enemy. Why carry a handkerchief about in the name of a mantle; thinking you will find more favour? Whoever told you a church sticker will be a saving grace from your enemies???

You say Mary has no place in heaven; yes I'll agree with you if you answer my question, have you searched through the whole bible and not found her place in creation??? I bet your answer will be a lopsided yes. But my advice read again.

You say that Catholics don't read the bible but I still don't get this point. Is it that they don't read the bible at all or they don't read and preach about 'The Miracle Working God'. There's a difference between reading the bible objective and also reading the bible subjectively. They read every portion of the bible, every nook and cranny of the bible. From the old testament, through the psalms, to the new testament. If you feel they don't read the 'favouritic' parts of the bible, please don't hang yourself, they have chosen what is right by avoiding to hide the truths of human existence in this temporary dwelling place.

"The teachings of the Catholic church are too hard" so you go to where you ears will find it easy to take. Well, never forget Luke 20: 45 - 47 and Luke 21: 34 - 36. The catholic church's teachings are the teaching of Jesus Himself. Christ never foretold any enjoyment or pleasure while here on earth. He only promised life eternal and joy everlasting in the kingdom of God. Where then do your preachers get their teachings of favor from??? Read what Jesus said in Mark 8: 31 - 38

On Sunday the 14th of April 2016, I heard a preacher while in a church service; saying to his members and I quote him: "I want you to unleash your holy anger and pray....". Please read Matt. 5: 21 - 26 and tell me what aspect of anger is holy.

Catholics don't pray; oh yes because they have chosen to adopt the bible standard of praying. Once I heard someone say " Catholics need to understand the art of praying violently". I laugh. Read what the bible teaches about prayer in Matt. 6: 5- 15

Finally, I want to advocate that you leave Catholics alone.

They have never come out to criticize any denomination so I wonder why every denomination is against them. All of these new age shops you call ministries stemmed from the catholic church. If you need to draw people to God, go to where the gospel of Christ Jesus has not reached and evangelize there.

Stop feeding on the work of others.

If you must judge for God, read what the bible says in Matt. 7: 1 - 6. Whether Catholics have never and will never make it to heaven or not, it is not your business. Focus on 'your' salvation and ensure you make heaven which you claim belongs to non-Catholics.
