RULAAC petitions IGP over Thaddeus Ikechukwu Ojokoh, calls for impartial, prompt investigation - ITREALMS

The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. Usman Alkali Baba over what the not-for-profit and advocacy organisation described as curious parading of a tailor, Mr. Thaddeus Ikechukwu Ojokoh, by the Imo State Police for killing of some officers in the state, reports ITREALMS.

RULAAC Executive Director, Mr. Okechukwu Nwanguma who endorsed the petition made available to ITREALMS also urged the IGP Baba to promptly and thoroughly investigate this petition to ensure impartiality, insisting that the crime he was being held was actually committed while Thaddeus was already in police custody as at April 15, even as the crime was committed April 21, 2023.

The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has petitioned the office of the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Alkali Baba Usman, over the abuse of power and discreditable conduct of one senior Police officer, ASP Matthew Abu Michael, reports

The petition, a copy of which was sighted by 

ITREALMS was dated April 3, 2022 and addressed to the IGP at Force Headquarters on the rising killings and tensions orchestrated by ASP Matthew Abu in Isuaniocha town of Anambra State.
