The Yoruba Women in South-West led by Iyalode Alaba Lawson, have congratulated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the President-Elect in Nigeria and prayed God to give him wisdom to rule the country successfully.

The congratulate letter signed by Lawson and copy made available to journalists called on Tinubu to form his cabinet with people of integrity in helping him to take the country to greater height.

In the early hours of Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission ((INEC) has declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), as the winner of the 2023 presidential election held last Saturday in Nigeria, reports ITREALMS.

This is coming barely four days after the Saturday elections, largely reported to have been marred by threats, snatching and burning of ballot boxes and suspected manipulations of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS), with some of the major parties calling for cancellation of the presidential polls.
