Historic leadership transition as Shell bids farewell to Marno de Jong, welcomes Elohor Aiboni - ITREALMS

Shell Companies in Nigeria on Tuesday night hosted a rousing sendforth to honor outgoing Executive Vice President Nigeria and Country Chair, Marno de Jong, while formally welcoming Elohor Aiboni, who returns from an international assignment to take up the role, reports ITREALMS.

The high-profile event saw stakeholders from government, the energy industry, professional bodies, and diplomatic circles join in celebrating the achievements of de Jong, who led Shell’s business in Nigeria for more than six years.

The Manager Director, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), Elohor Aiboni, has been honoured by the Women in Energy Network (WIEN), reports ITREALMS.

The President, Women in Energy Network (WIEN), Mrs Eyono Fatayi-Williams, led her executive to SNEPCo headquarters in Lagos to make the presentation of the certificate of honour on Tuesday.

The Managing Director, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Company Limited (SNEPCo), Elohor Aiboni has declared that Bonga deep-water development has witnessed outstanding production due to effective leadership and cutting edge technology deployment, reports ITREALMS.

Also, she said that continuous improvement, integrated delivery and collaboration with partners and stakeholders, contributed immensely.
