The Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola (CON), has approved the appointment of Dr. Bolaji Akinola as his Adviser on Media and Communications. Correspondent reports that Dr. Akinola, a highly respected maritime and corporate communications expert, will bring his over two decades of experience and expertise in Maritime and logistics to bear in his new role as the media adviser to the honourable minister.

The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) and Mr. Mike Osilama, Legal Adviser, Zenith Bank Plc, have paid tribute to High Chief Emmanuel Ikonne Amuchie, the late father of Dr Max Amuchie, Chief Executive Officer of Sundiata Post Media Ltd and North Central Zonal Co-ordinator of GOCOP.

GOCOP, the umbrella body of professional journalists in Nigeria who are online publishers, said it was saddened to hear about the death of High Chief Amuchie.

HEDA petitions NSA to probe alleged mismanagement Police trust fund - ITREALMS

The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre), a prominent anti-corruption organization, has formally petitioned the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, to launch an immediate investigation into allegations of mismanagement and corruption within the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).
The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre), a prominent anti-corruption organization, has formally petitioned the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, to launch an immediate investigation into allegations of mismanagement and corruption within the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).
In a petition dated August 21, 2023, addressed to the NSA, HEDA voiced its deep concern over recent reports published by The Nation news online platform. These reports detailed serious allegations of financial misconduct and misadministration within the NPTF. According to The Nation, the Goldstreet Associates, an Abuja-based human rights group, submitted a petition to President Bola Tinubu on August 15, 2023, outlining these accusations.
