Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has been nominated to preside over the 34-member Committee of Eminent Persons (CoEPs), to plan the funeral of the foremost nationalist and statesman, late Chief Mbazulike Amechi, also known as Dara Akunwafor na Ukpor, reports ITREALMS.
Late Chief Amechi, ITREALMS recalled, was one of the last remaining Fathers of Nigerian Independence, and Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation in the First Republic, who passed on 1st November 2022 at the age of 93 in his home town, Ukpor in Anambra State.
