The oil-rich state of Akwa-Ibom has been described as the Nigeria’s best kept secret, just as the state celebrates 35th year after creation, reports ITREALMS.

Speaking to a cross section of senior journalists who were in the state on a facility tour, the Secretary to the Akwa-Ibom State Government, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem in the company of the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong Essien, Special Adviser on Publicity, Prince Chris Abasieyo and Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Ekerete Udoh, declared that “Akwa-Ibom is the Nigeria’s best kept secret.”
